Opt-outs and warnings
Sep. 23rd, 2018 12:34 amConsidering Rose Guns Days is written by the guy who wrote Higurashi, Umineko and Higanbana. It's pretty lighthearted till about halfway though.
Saying that, it's still a mafia series set in post WW2 Japan that focuses on an alliance of sex workers.
This post is screened if anyone wants to opt-out or more details. Sorry for being a bit vague but some of these would be spoilers.
Things relating to Wayne's backstory
Suicide
Child abuse
Things relating to the series in general (not going to really come up with Wayne. But if you want to check the series out.)
Racism - While there's not a lot of it from most characters. There's a lot of moments where characters from different countries just don't get each other enough to get a long.
Sexual assault - Series about sex workers. A lot of them aren't happy about it and only see it as a way to be buy food. By the time the series takes place things have gotten a bit better with them creating clubs and safe places to do business. But at least one character points out how risky the job is.
Domestic abuse - Ties in with the above at points. There's a lot of guys who don't like that they can't get jobs at all, and think the women have it easy. They're normally confrontation with the ladies.
